Slight drop in temperatures expected Wednesday across Jordan

A slight decrease in temperatures is expected on Wednesday, though they will remain within seasonal averages. The weather will be mild in most regions and warm in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba.

Winds will be northwesterly and moderate, occasionally becoming active and causing dust storms in desert areas.

The Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) has warned of reduced visibility in desert areas due to dust and the possibility of morning fog over the high northern mountains.

On Thursday, similar weather conditions will persist, with high-altitude clouds appearing. Winds will remain northwesterly and moderate, occasionally picking up.

For Friday and Saturday, the weather will continue to be mild in most areas and warm in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with medium to high clouds over eastern Jordan. Morning winds will be northeasterly and moderate, shifting to northwesterly and occasionally active in the afternoon.

  • Southern Jordan Valley: 31°C / 16°C
  • Dead Sea: 30°C / 15°C
  • Aqaba: 30°C / 19°C
