Unstable weather expected on second day of Eid al-Fitr in Jordan
Jordan is set to witness significant weather fluctuations on Tuesday, the second day of Eid al-Fitr, according to ArabiaWeather.
Dry and dusty conditions will prevail during the day, with strong winds ahead of an approaching weather disturbance that could bring scattered rain showers by the afternoon and evening.
Rising Temperatures and Widespread Dust
Temperatures will rise significantly on Tuesday, reaching 6-8°C above average. The weather will be dry and dusty to varying degrees, with extensive mid- and high-level cloud cover. Scattered rain showers are possible in some areas during the afternoon, potentially accompanied by thunderstorms.
Strong southeasterly winds will develop, occasionally gusting at high speeds, stirring dust and sand across various regions. Visibility may be significantly reduced in parts of the desert and eastern plains due to thick dust clouds.
Nighttime Instability and Scattered Rain
By evening and into the night, unstable weather conditions will intensify. The sky will remain partially dusty, with continued cloud cover. Scattered rain showers will persist in random areas, with a chance of thunderstorms and possible hail, especially in desert regions after midnight and into the early morning hours.
Winds will shift directions and remain moderate but may suddenly intensify during passing storm clouds, further reducing visibility due to dust.
