Authorities intensified their crackdown on food safety violations, targeting street vendors selling Ramadan juices under direct sunlight, which accelerates spoilage. As a result, 34,698 liters of juices and beverages were destroyed, and 1,012 unlicensed juice stalls were removed.
In total, inspectors handed out 1,897 warnings to businesses and imposed 394 fines for noncompliance with health regulations. The municipality emphasized that its oversight efforts would continue beyond Ramadan to ensure food safety across the city.
