Jordan to be hit by low-pressure system on last Friday of Ramadan
Jordan is set to experience a low-pressure system on the last Friday of Ramadan, bringing dry and dusty conditions.
Temperatures will spike 9-11°C above average before dropping on Saturday as a cooler air mass moves in, continuing through the first day of Eid al-Fitr, according to ArabiaWeather.
Friday’s weather will be warm and dry, with dust levels varying, especially in desert areas. The Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba will be hot, with medium and high clouds appearing.
As the low-pressure system moves away Friday night, a cooler air mass will bring a noticeable temperature drop on Saturday and Sunday, returning conditions to more moderate levels.
Moderate southwesterly winds will pick up at times, stirring dust in some areas, with strong winds expected in parts of southern and eastern Jordan.
