VIDEO: Man dies after falling into 30-meter deep pit in Amman

A 55-year-old man tragically died after falling into a deep pit over 30 meters in depth in the Al-Bayda area of East Amman.

Civil Defense teams, assisted by the international search and rescue team, recovered his body.

According to a spokesperson from the Public Security Directorate, the pit was very narrow, which required professional efforts and specialized equipment to retrieve the victim.

After the body was extracted, it was transported to the hospital. Authorities have initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
