Authorities warn citizens of scam links impersonating police identity

The Public Security Directorate (PSD) has warned citizens of fraudulent links being sent to their phones under the name of the Jordanian police.

The link claims to provide access to traffic violation records to prevent escalation but is actually a scam.

Authorities have taken technical measures to block the link, and the Cybercrime Unit is actively tracking its source and those responsible.

The PSD urged the public not to interact with the link or any other unknown links they may receive to avoid potential fraud or data theft.
