Iraq honors Dr. Mohammed Taher Abu Ragheef for humanitarian work in Gaza

Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia' Al Sudani met with Dr. Mohammed Taher Abu Ragheef to commend his humanitarian work in Gaza.

During the meeting, Sudani praised Dr. Abu Ragheef’s dedication, emphasizing the moral and humanitarian importance of his efforts. He described the doctor’s contributions as a source of national pride, reflecting Iraq’s unwavering support for the Palestinian people and their just cause.

In recognition of his service, the Prime Minister announced several honors for Dr. Abu Ragheef, including the allocation of a residential unit in central Baghdad and the issuance of a diplomatic passport. Furthermore, Sudani ordered the establishment of the Iraqi Hospital in Gaza to provide medical aid to Palestinians, reinforcing Iraq’s longstanding humanitarian commitment.

Dr. Abu Ragheef expressed his deep gratitude for the recognition and reaffirmed Iraq’s ongoing support for Gaza, acknowledging both official and public efforts.
