Lebanese Civil Defense announced the recovery of 23 bodies from the rubble of southern Lebanon villages following Israel's withdrawal from the region.

The bodies were discovered in areas such as Kfar Kila, Mays al-Jabal, Odaisseh, and Markaba, as locals returned to search for missing relatives after the "Israeli" aggression on Lebanon.

This follows "Israel's" adherence to a US-brokered ceasefire agreement, with the country completing its pullout from most southern territories on Tuesday. "Israeli" Foreign Minister Gideon Saar confirmed the withdrawal, though "Israel" will temporarily maintain a presence at five strategic locations allegedly deemed necessary for security purposes.

The Lebanese Civil Defense, which has been at the forefront of search operations, confirmed that the bodies found belonged to civilians and fighters.
