Quds Brigades to release 'Israeli' captive on Saturday

Abu Hamza, the military spokesperson for Al-Quds Brigades, the armed wing of Islamic Jihad, announced that the group will release 'Israeli' captive Alexander Turbanov on Saturday, Feb. 15, 2025.

This release is part of the sixth phase of the first stage of Aqsa Typhoon prisoner exchange deal.

The announcement is part of ongoing steps by Al-Quds Brigades to implement the terms of the agreement, which aims to facilitate a prisoner swap between the group and 'Israel.'

Abu Hamza emphasized that the release comes at a critical time for all parties involved and reaffirmed the group's commitment to carrying out the deal as planned.

Meanwhile, a senior Hamas official stated that the group will also release three captives on the same day.
