"Israel" awaits names of captives Hamas plans to release
The Israeli Occupation authorities are awaiting, on Friday, the names of the three captives whom Hamas intends to release on Saturday in exchange for Palestinian political prisoners, as part of the sixth batch of the prisoner exchange deal.
This development follows reports of successful Egyptian and Qatari mediation in overcoming obstacles that had delayed the agreement’s implementation.
Egyptian media reported that both parties had committed to extending the truce, which halted a 15-month war in Gaza.
However, recent "Israeli" and American statements have cast a shadow over the deal. US President Donald Trump threatened to open the "gates of hell" on Hamas if it does not release all Israeli Occupation captives by Saturday.
Meanwhile, "Israeli" government spokesperson David Mencer stressed that the agreement stipulates the release of the three captives alive, warning that the truce would collapse if they were not freed by noon on Saturday.
Similarly, "Israeli" Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Foreign Minister Israel Katz hinted at a return to fighting in Gaza if Hamas does not comply with the agreement's terms.
