Hamas has confirmed its commitment to continue implementing the ceasefire agreement, including the captive exchange, according to the agreed-upon timeline, emphasizing full adherence to the terms signed.

In an urgent statement, the group revealed that it had conducted discussions with mediators to monitor the progress of the agreement's implementation, particularly in light of violations committed by the Israeli Occupation.

Hamas also stated that its delegation held a meeting in Cairo with the head of Egypt's intelligence services and had phone talks with the Qatari Prime Minister, as part of ongoing efforts to ensure the agreement is executed according to the agreed terms.

Humanitarian aid and assistance

Hamas announced that its delegation held intensive meetings with negotiators from Egypt and Qatar, along with communications with technical teams of the mediators, to follow up on the ceasefire agreement's implementation.

The movement emphasized that the talks focused on the execution of key provisions, particularly securing shelter for displaced people in Gaza.

This includes the urgent delivery of prefabricated houses, tents, and heavy equipment, as well as providing medical supplies and fuel to ensure the continued flow of humanitarian aid into the region.

Hamas noted that the discussions were conducted with seriousness, stressing the need for the swift implementation of all commitments under the agreement, especially considering the worsening humanitarian situation in Gaza.
