Hamas officials meet Egyptian mediators to address ceasefire dispute

A Hamas delegation arrived in Cairo on Wednesday for discussions on the Gaza ceasefire, as efforts continue to resolve ongoing disputes over its implementation.

"A delegation headed by Khalil Al-Hayya, head of the Hamas movement in the Gaza Strip, arrived in Cairo and began meetings with Egyptian officials, and followed up on the implementation of the ceasefire agreement," the statement read.

An official speaking to Agence France-Presse (AFP) stated that the talks aim to "discuss ways to end the current crisis and ensure the occupation's commitment to implementing the agreement."
