Nur Shams camp in Tulkarm nearly completely evacuated
Roya's correspondent reported on Wednesday that a large number of residents of Nur Shams refugee camp in Tulkarm, in the occupied West Bank, evacuated their homes under pressure and threats from the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF).
According to the correspondent, it was almost completely emptied after the IOF issued immediate evacuation orders for the camp.
On Wednesday, IOF demanded that residents of Nur Shams camp, east of Tulkarm in the northern West Bank, leave immediately, using loudspeakers from the camp’s mosque as part of the ongoing military escalation.
The Popular Services Committee in Nur Shams camp stated that IOF stormed a mosque and used its loudspeakers to call on residents to leave. The camp has been subjected to continuous Israeli Occupation aggression for four days.
The IOF spread throughout the camp’s entrances and alleyways with military vehicles and patrols, firing live bullets and stun grenades intensively in an attempt to instill fear and panic among the residents.
