Abbas praises “courageous, brotherly” stance of King Abdullah II

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, in a statement, said he highly valued the “courageous and brotherly” stance of His Majesty King Abdullah II.

Abbas described King Abdullah’s position as a continuation of Jordan’s steadfast support for the just and legitimate national rights of the Palestinian people – in a statement published by the Palestine News Agency (Wafa).

He also commended the King’s initiative to host wounded and sick children from Gaza for medical treatment, after His Majesty announced in a meeting with US President Donald Trump on Tuesday that Jordan will host 2,000 children for treatment.
