King, Emir of Qatar call for sustaining Gaza ceasefire

His Majesty King Abdullah II and His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of Qatar, discussed the latest developments, particularly in Gaza, the West Bank, and Syria, during a phone call on Wednesday.

The King stressed the need to halt settlement activities and rejected any attempts to annex land or displace Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank, emphasizing the importance of ensuring their steadfastness on their land.

His Majesty also underscored the necessity of Palestinian unity and called for intensified Arab and international efforts to sustain the ceasefire in Gaza and enhance humanitarian response in the Strip.

Both leaders reaffirmed the importance of supporting the Syrian people and efforts to preserve Syria’s unity, sovereignty, and stability.
