Jordan evacuates critically ill Gazan child for treatment

Under royal directives, Major General Yousef Ahmed Al-Hunaiti, the Army Chief of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, instructed the Director General of the Royal Medical Services to evacuate Palestinian child Habiba Allah Mahmoud Abdel Nasser from Gaza to Jordan on Monday.

Upon arrival in Jordan, she was transported via helicopter to Queen Rania Children's Hospital at Al-Hussein Medical City, where a specialized medical team is assessing her condition and conducting necessary tests.

Brig. Gen. Dr. Yousef Zureikat, Director General of the Royal Medical Services, stated that Habiba suffers from an advanced disease that has caused gangrene in her lower limbs, left hand, and left eye. He confirmed that she will receive full medical care at the hospital.

Habiba's mother expressed deep gratitude to King Abdullah II for the humanitarian gesture and praised the Jordanian Armed Forces for their ongoing medical and relief efforts in Gaza.
