Hamas ready for second round of ceasefire talks

Two senior Hamas sources confirmed that the group is prepared to begin the second round of negotiations with 'Israel' as part of the Gaza ceasefire agreement.

A senior Hamas official, speaking on condition of anonymity, stated, "Talks for the second phase are set to begin today. Hamas informed mediators during recent meetings in Cairo that we are ready to start the next round of negotiations."

Another Hamas source added, "We are waiting for mediators to initiate the talks. The Hamas delegation is ready and committed to implementing the agreement."
