Hamas official reveals details on release of Thai workers from Gaza

A senior Hamas official revealed details about the release of five Thai workers from Gaza as part of the third phase of the prisoner exchange.

The official stated that their release was facilitated through efforts by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and other mediators.

According to Anadolu Agency, Turkish intelligence played a key role in securing their freedom through diplomatic efforts led by Erdoğan. Since the start of the aggression in Gaza, Ankara has maintained continuous communication with all parties to push for a ceasefire and the release of foreign captives.

The five Thai workers were released alongside three 'Israeli' captives in exchange for 110 Palestinian detainees, including children and those serving life sentences.
