Hamas issues statement on release of Palestinian detainees from "Israeli" jails

Hamas issued a statement following the release of Palestinian political prisoners from "Israeli" jails as part of the third round of the prisoner exchange agreement.

The statement expressed Hamas' pride and solidarity with the Palestinian people, celebrating the release of a new batch of detainees.

"Our brave resistance has forced the occupiers to open their prison cells to our heroes," Hamas declared, emphasizing that the release was a result of the ceasefire and exchange deal.

The movement also highlighted the warm welcome that the freed prisoners received from Palestinians, despite attempts by the Israeli Occupation Forces to suppress them and their families.

Hamas stressed that the issue of Palestinian political prisoners is a "red line" and vowed to continue the struggle until all detainees are freed and Palestinian land and sanctities are restored.

Hamas concluded with a pledge: "We will not abandon our detainees. We will continue working with all our strength to empty "Israeli" jails of our heroic prisoners. Threats or oppression from the enemy will not deter us from achieving this goal by any means necessary."
