Palestinian Presidency rejects displacement of Gaza residents

The Palestinian presidency said it firmly rejects and strongly condemns any proposals aimed at displacing the residents of Gaza to other countries.

In a statement, the presidency emphasized that the Palestinian leadership and people will never accept policies undermining the unity of Palestinian land, including Gaza, the West Bank, and East Jerusalem.

President Mahmoud Abbas has initiated urgent discussions with Arab and European leaders, as well as the US administration, warning of the grave consequences such proposals could have on the Palestinian cause and regional security.
