Hamas condemns 'Israel’s' ban on return of displaced Gazans

Hamas announced on Sunday that it is working with mediators to address "Israel’s" prevention of displaced Palestinians from returning to northern Gaza, calling the move a blatant violation of the ceasefire agreement.

In a statement, Hamas accused "Israel" of using the case of captive Arbel Yehud as a pretext, despite assurances to mediators that she is alive and will be released as part of the agreement.

The group held "Israel" fully responsible for delaying the implementation of the deal and stressed that it is continuing efforts with mediators to ensure a resolution that guarantees the return of displaced residents to their homes in northern Gaza.
