Political analyst: Jenin attacks highlights Israeli Occupation’s political desperation

Political analyst Thamer Anaswah described the Israeli Occupation’s decision to launch a military operation in Jenin shortly after the Gaza ceasefire took effect and just one day after US President Donald Trump assumed office as a replay of the aggression against Gaza.

Commenting on the operation, dubbed "The Iron Wall," which targeted Jenin and its refugee camp in the northern West Bank, Anaswah told Roya News that it represents a clear violation of international law.

Anaswah noted that resignations within the occupation's government and military have created significant political and military strain, exacerbating internal instability.

He further explained that the military operation in Jenin is a calculated attempt to appease the far-right factions within the "Israeli" political landscape.
