Several Palestinian students suffered from suffocation on Tuesday when the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) stormed the town of Al-Khader, south of Bethlehem.

The IOF fired tear gas canisters and sound bombs at schools, leading to incidents of suffocation among students amid clashes.

Additionally, the IOF arrested 35 Palestinians from various locations in the occupied West Bank.

The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that the IOF was positioned in multiple areas of old Al-Khader and targeted students with gas canisters.

The Bethlehem Education Directorate confirmed that the IOF raided the vicinity of Al-Khader Girls' School, detaining a teacher for a while, confiscating her mobile phone, and firing gas and sound bombs into the air while threatening the school principal with their weapons.

The Directorate also stated that the forces confined the female students to their classrooms, preventing them from leaving and causing widespread panic and fear.
