AFP: Last negotiations for Gaza ceasefire scheduled in Doha on Tuesday

An informed source involved in the negotiations revealed that a "final round" of talks aimed at achieving a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip is set to commence on Tuesday in Qatar to end the aggression that has persisted for over 15 months, Agence France-Presse (AFP) reported.

The source, who requested anonymity, stated, "A final round of negotiations is expected today in Doha," adding that Tuesday's meetings "aim to finalize the remaining details of the agreement."

The discussions will include the heads of Israeli intelligence, envoys from US President Joe Biden and President-elect Donald Trump, as well as the Qatari Prime Minister. Mediators are also expected to meet separately with Hamas officials, according to the source.
