Ahmad Safadi praises army's humanitarian efforts in Gaza

Speaker of the House of Representatives Ahmed Safadi commended the Jordanian Armed Forces for their continued support to Gaza, in line with King Abdullah II's efforts to aid the Palestinian people.

In his remarks during Monday’s parliamentary session, Safadi highlighted the deployment of the Jordanian field hospital team, "Gaza/5," to southern Gaza last week. The team’s mission is to provide medical and humanitarian relief to alleviate the suffering of those in the region.

The field hospital team, consisting of 126 medical, nursing, and administrative staff, arrived alongside 17 trucks loaded with medical and relief supplies. Additionally, 23 trucks carrying construction materials were dispatched to establish the first phase of a maternity and neonatal care hospital in Khan Younis.

Safadi expressed pride in the Jordanian leadership and the military's efforts, emphasizing their dedication to humanitarian work. He also acknowledged the return of the "Gaza/4" field hospital team, praising their service to the people of Gaza.

"Long live Jordan, its great people, and its brave army," Safadi said, extending gratitude to King Abdullah II for his leadership in supporting regional causes.
