Netanyahu sends Mossad chief to Doha for Gaza ceasefire negotiations
“Israeli” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu decided to send Mossad chief David Barnea, and the army’s point man on prisoners Major General Nitzan Alon to Doha to advance the Gaza ceasefire negotiations.
Netanyahu’s political advisor Ophir Falk will also travel to Doha, according to a statement from the prime minister’s office.
The decision came after a situational assessment on the status of prisoner exchange deals, where he was joined by Defense Minister Israel Katz, “Israeli” security system chiefs, and also negotiators from the both the Biden administration and the incoming Trump one.
He also met with Trump’s incoming US Mideast envoy Steve Witkoff in Jerusalem earlier Saturday.

London-based Al-Araby Al-Jadeed, citing a senior Hamas official, said that the final framework for the ceasefire agreement has been completed, and consists of three phases.
The first phase of the agreement outlines a partial withdrawal of “Israeli” forces. The second phase would see “Israeli” retain its monitoring points in Gaza, while the final day of the third phase mandates a full withdrawal of the “Israeli” military.
