"Israeli" Channel 12 reported that "Israeli" Defense Minister Israel Katz called for a change in military strategy in the Gaza Strip to eradicate Hamas and bring an end to the war.
Gallant stated that if a prisoner exchange deal is not reached before the inauguration of US President-elect Donald Trump, decisive actions must be taken against Hamas in Gaza to achieve a "complete resolution."
He warned against getting drawn into a prolonged war of attrition with Hamas, especially with captives in the tunnels at risk.
In related operations, "Israeli" artillery targeted the Al-Tabaeen Mosque in Nuseirat, central Gaza twice consecutively.
