'Israeli' forces closed several checkpoints around Nablus on Saturday and tightened security measures at others, according to a reporter for Roya News.

The increased security is part of an ongoing search for those responsible for the "Funduq" shooting attack.

The search operations are concentrated in the northeastern part of Nablus, particularly in the villages of Badhan and Talouza, which are the hometowns of the slain mastermind of the operation, Jaafar Dabbasseh.

Dabbasseh, who was killed the day after the attack, was hailed as the leader of the operation, which killed three 'Israelis' and injured others in the village of Funduq on Monday. The Al-Qassam Brigades, along with al-Quds Brigades and Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, claimed responsibility for the attack.

The brigades described the operation as a message of unity between resistance factions, vowing further joint operations in response to 'Israeli' actions in Gaza and the West Bank.
