Temperatures will start low at the beginning of the week before rising significantly, reaching around 20°C by Wednesday – per ArabiaWeather’s forecasts.

Dense fog on Sunday morning

Dense fog is expected to form over several areas in Jordan on Sunday morning, particularly in the plains and desert regions. This includes major desert highways leading to Queen Alia International Airport and some mountainous areas. The fog may extend into urban centers and is expected to dissipate gradually by late morning.

For the rest of Sunday, conditions will remain relatively cold with low clouds, and light, variable winds.

Impact of the Siberian High

Jordan will be influenced by the Siberian High on Monday and Tuesday, bringing moderate to brisk southeasterly winds. Temperatures are expected to rise slightly above seasonal averages; however, the active winds will lead to a noticeable drop in perceived temperatures.

The weather will be relatively cold in most areas, with increasing medium and high clouds by Tuesday. The winds will intensify the chill, particularly in the southern highlands and Jordan Valley areas. Meanwhile, conditions in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba are expected to remain mild.

Significant warm-up by Wednesday

Temperatures are forecast to rise sharply on Wednesday, exceeding seasonal averages by 5-7°C. Most areas will experience cool conditions, while the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba will enjoy warm midday weather. Medium and high clouds will persist, with moderate southwesterly winds.

Rain by Thursday

According to the latest forecasts, temperatures will drop again on Thursday, accompanied by increased wind speeds. The weather will be relatively cold across most regions, with a chance of localized rain showers in northern areas. Winds will shift to moderate to active northwesterlies.
