Gazan journalist shot by “Israeli” sniper, raising toll to 203 since Oct. 2023
The Gaza Media Office reported on Friday that the number of journalists killed in Gaza has reached 203, following the death of Saed Nabhan, a photojournalist for Al-Ghad TV who had previously worked with multiple media outlets.
Nabhan was shot and killed by an “Israeli” sniper while covering events in the New Camp area of Nuseirat Refugee Camp in central Gaza.
The Government Media Office in Gaza condemned the killing, calling it a deliberate assassination and urging the international community and press freedom organizations worldwide to denounce Israeli crimes.
The office also called for the prosecution of “Israeli” perpetrators in international courts and emphasized the need for serious and effective pressure to halt acts of genocide and protect journalists, particularly in Gaza and across Palestine.
