Jordanians report sudden increase in chicken prices

Several Jordanians have complained about a sudden rise in the prices of fresh chicken sold in local markets across various areas in Jordan.

Speaking to Roya, citizens noted that the price hike occurred unexpectedly over the past few days, particularly in Amman.

They pointed out that some shops are now selling fresh chicken at JOD 2.15 per kilogram.
