Cold weather expected across Jordan Wednesday
The Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) has forecast cold weather across most regions of the country on Wednesday, with moderate temperatures expected in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba.
According to a statement from the JMD, low-altitude clouds are expected, and winds will be light to moderate, shifting from easterly to southeasterly during the night.
The weather is anticipated to be very cold in the highlands and desert areas and cold in the Jordan Valley and Aqaba, with frost likely to form in mountainous regions and parts of the desert during the early morning hours.
The department also warned of reduced visibility in the early hours due to fog over highlands and parts of the plains.
Meanwhile, ArabiaWeather noted that the influence of the Siberian high-pressure system on Jordan will gradually intensify on Wednesday and Thursday. This will lead to mostly clear but cold conditions, particularly during the early morning and nighttime hours.
