Ministry of Industry reported 4,008 violations in 2024

The Market Monitoring Directorate from the Ministry of Industry and Trade announced it had recorded 1,767 violations in Amman, including 1,415 violations for failing to display prices, and 220 violations for not adhering to set prices.

The Directorate also reported 59 violations for not complying with the posted prices. Additionally, 46 violations were found for not following discount and clearance sale regulations, 19 violations for not complying with bakery establishment guidelines, seven violations for refusing to sell essential goods, and one violation for failing to provide a purchase receipt to the buyer.
