Jordan dispatches 300 tons of essential supplies to Syria
Following the directives of His Majesty King Abdullah II, Jordan dispatched a new humanitarian aid convoy to Syria on Sunday.
This initiative underscores the strong fraternal ties between the two nations amid Syria's challenging circumstances.
The aid comprises 300 tons of essential relief supplies, including food, medical supplies, blankets, and heating materials. These will be delivered to the Syrian Red Crescent for distribution to affected families across various regions in Syria.
Hussein Al-Shibli, Secretary-General of the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO), stated that this initiative reflects the King's commitment and Jordan's humanitarian responsibility toward its brothers.
He emphasized that collaboration with the Jordanian Armed Forces - Arab Army (JAF) ensures the prompt and efficient delivery of aid to those in need.
Shibli also noted that this support highlights the Hashemite leadership's dedication to fostering Arab and regional solidarity while continuing humanitarian efforts for the Syrian people during these difficult times.
