Momani: Jordan remains committed to supporting Syrian people, offering assistance

Government Communication Minister and official spokesman Mohammad Momani announced that Jordan, under the direct guidance of His Majesty King Abdullah II, is committed to providing extensive support to the Syrian people.

In a post on his official X account, Momani emphasized, "The stability of Syria is a pillar of security and stability in the region, and we will stand with its brotherly people in the process of rebuilding it as a unified, independent, and stable Arab state."

His post referenced a message from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources about Jordan's preparations to supply part of Syria's electricity needs at the Nasib Border Crossing.

Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Saleh Al-Kharabsheh stated on Friday that Jordan is ready to assist Syria with its electricity requirements.
