The “Israeli” military continues its relentless assault on Gaza for the 456th consecutive day, committing atrocities against children, women, the elderly, and unarmed civilians.

Humanitarian aid under threat

According to political sources cited by Hebrew Channel 12, “Israeli” authorities are considering reducing humanitarian aid to Gaza. This comes as US President-elect Donald Trump prepares to take office on January 20.

Ceasefire negotiations

Hamas announced in a statement that indirect negotiations are set to resume Friday in Doha. The group expressed its commitment to reaching an agreement promptly to achieve the aspirations and objectives of the Palestinian people, including halting the aggression and safeguarding civilians amid ongoing acts of genocide and ethnic cleansing.

Hamas emphasized that this round of talks will focus on securing a complete ceasefire, the withdrawal of “Israeli” forces from Gaza, and finalizing implementation details.

US response

John Kirby, spokesperson for the US National Security Council, stated that Hamas initiated the conflict and has the power to end it by signing a new agreement.

Kirby claimed that “Israel” has significantly damaged Hamas' military capabilities, although the group remains a serious threat. He urged Hamas to seize the opportunity to agree to a deal for the release of detainees and a ceasefire.
