Syrian government declares official holiday for Christmas

The Presidency of the Council of Ministers in the caretaker government issued a circular today to suspend government institutions on Wednesday and Thursday, Dec.25 and 26, 2024, in celebration of Christmas.

According to the circular, all employees in government institutions will be granted an official holiday.

This will apply to ministries and public entities that require continuous operation due to their nature or circumstances.
