No new taxes or fees for Jordanians, government assures
Government spokesperson and Minister of State for Media Affairs, Mohammad Momani, confirmed on Saturday that there will be no increases in taxes or fees for Jordanians, emphasizing that the government will not negatively impact citizens' pockets.
During a meeting with media representatives, Momani stated that Prime Minister Jafar Hassan's government is focused on economic decisions rather than financial accountability.

Economic Affairs Minister Muhannad Shehadeh stressed that the government is working to improve the country's economic situation without affecting citizens' financial well-being. He added that the government aims to support the national economy through strategic decisions and actions.
This comes following a meeting at the Prime Minister’s Office where Momani and Shehadeh discussed the government’s key decisions and achievements during its first 90 days under Hassan's leadership.
Momani also praised the role of national media, highlighting their professionalism, responsibility, and commitment to public interests.
