Report: “Israeli” strikes on Syria late Sunday caused earthquakes
Heavy “Israeli” strikes carried out on the Syrian port city of Tartus caused a tremor that was picked up by the Geographic Survey of “Israel’s” seismology department late Sunday – according to Hebrew media cited by “The Times of Israel”.
The quake was 3.1 in magnitude, and was 32 kilometers in depth.
Late Sunday, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said that “Israeli” aircraft launched the heaviest airstrikes in more than a decade on Tartus which were targeting air defenses, surface-to-surface missile depots, and other sites.
