Prince Hussein, Kuwaiti Crown Prince discuss Gaza crisis, Arab unity efforts
His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II held talks on Sunday with Kuwait Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al Hamad Al Mubarak Al Sabah.
During the meeting, held at Bayan Palace in the Kuwaiti capital, His Royal Highness expressed pride in the strong relations between Jordan and Kuwait and their two peoples, as well as keenness to expand prospects for cooperation across various fields, especially economic ones.
The Crown Prince stressed that cooperation between Jordan and the Gulf states is an example of Arab integration.
Discussions also covered regional developments and the importance of stepping up Arab efforts to stop the war on Gaza, ensure that Palestinians fulfill their full legitimate rights, stop displacement attempts, and increase aid to Gaza.
Turning to the situation in Syria, discussions covered the need to support efforts to ensure Syria's unity, stability, and the safety of its citizens.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi, Director of the Office of the Crown Prince Zaid Baqain, and Jordan’s Ambassador to Kuwait Sinan Al Majali attended the talks.
From the Kuwaiti side, Foreign Minister Abdullah Ali Al Yahya, the escort of honor Sheikh Sabah Badr Al Salem Al Sabah, Kuwait’s Ambassador to Jordan Hamad Al Marri, and a number of senior officials attended the meeting.
