U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken, speaking to reporters after the discussions, emphasized the importance of a transition process that is both led and owned by the Syrian people, Agence France-Presse (AFP) reported.
He remarked, "We agreed that the transition process should be Syrian-led and Syrian-owned and produce an inclusive and representative government."
