"Israeli” army issues statement on developments in Syria

The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) issued a statement today on the recent developments in Syria.

Minister of Defense Israel Katz, and Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi conducted a situational assessment with the members of the General Staff forum, and said that the IOF monitors developments and is prepared for all scenarios, offensive and defensive alike.

The statement said that the IOF “will not tolerate threats near the Lebanon-Syria border and will thwart any threat against the State of Israel.”
