Egypt is holding discussions with 'Israel' to reopen the Rafah border crossing with Gaza, according to Arab officials cited by The Wall Street Journal. The move is part of a broader effort to facilitate aid delivery to Gaza and work towards a larger ceasefire agreement.

The report states that Egyptian officials recently visited Tel Aviv to negotiate reopening the crossing and discuss a new proposal for a prisoner exchange and ceasefire in Gaza.

Officials suggested the Rafah crossing could reopen by early December if an agreement is reached between Egypt and 'Israel.'

The Egyptian proposal reportedly includes a 60-day ceasefire, allowing 'Israel' to maintain a military presence in parts of Gaza and initiating a prisoner exchange seven days after the ceasefire begins.
