Hezbollah's Naim Qassem addresses public in first speech post-"Israeli" ceasefire

Hezbollah's Secretary-General Naim Qassem delivered a speech, his first since the ceasefire agreement in Lebanon with the Israeli Occupation came into effect.

Qassem: You have been patient, you have struggled, and you have moved from place to place, while your sons fought in the valleys and made every effort to confront the enemy.

Qassem: We have repeated that we do not want war, but we want to support Gaza.

Qassem: We are ready for war if it is imposed by the occupation.

Qassem: The occupation's aggression was very serious, it pained us and made us confused for ten days.

Qassem: We regained our strength and took the initiative, forming a command and control system, and we stood firm on the front lines.

Qassem: During the war, there were hundreds of thousands of displaced persons in "Israel."

Qassem: The resistance has proven that it is ready, and Nasrallah's plans are effective and take all developments into account.

Qassem: The occupation relied on internal strife, and all its bets have failed.

Qassem: The legendary steadfastness of the fighters has astonished the world, terrified the occupation army, and brought despair to it.

Qassem: The agreement was made under the umbrella of Lebanese sovereignty, and we agreed to it while holding our heads high in our right to defend ourselves.

Qassem: We prevented the occupation from destroying Hezbollah.

Qassem: Coordination between the resistance and the Lebanese army will be at a high level to implement the agreement.

Qassem: Defeat surrounds the Israeli Occupation from all sides.

Qassem: We thank God for our victory and take pride in the resistance fighters in the field who have humiliated the enemy.
