Iran: Lebanon ceasefire does not stop our retaliation plans against "Israel"

Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister reaffirmed Tehran’s commitment to responding to "Israel", stating that the ceasefire in Lebanon does not alter this decision.

Major General Hossein Salami, commander-in-chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), lauded Hezbollah’s success in imposing its terms on "Israel", calling the ceasefire a dual defeat for both Tel Aviv and Washington.

Salami highlighted that "Israel", which had aimed to dismantle Hezbollah through targeted assassinations of its leaders, now faces a stronger and more determined resistance.

He warned that Tel Aviv is in a state of decline and will be compelled to end the war in Gaza or face its eventual collapse.

Salami also pointed out that US and French intervention to stabilize "Israel" has failed to alleviate its deepening existential crises.
