Jordan eases restrictions on duty-free purchases for tourists

22-11-2024 17:03|The Council of Ministers amended the decision restricting foreigners from purchasing items from the domestic duty-free market.
The amendment, detailed in a document reviewed by Roya, was made in response to regional conditions affecting tourist numbers.
Under the revised rule, foreigners may shop at the domestic duty-free market within 14 days of their entry, as noted on their passports, with tobacco products remaining excluded.
