Two dead, several injured in multiple vehicle accidents across Jordan

Jordan witnessed multiple vehicle accidents on Thursday, resulting in tragic fatalities and injuries, according to the Central Traffic Department.

Abu Alanda Crash
A collision involving four vehicles occurred under the Abu Alanda Bridge heading toward the Customs Roundabout in Amman. Initial reports confirmed two deaths and three injuries. Traffic police teams were on-site, working to clear the vehicles and restore normal traffic flow.

Fatal Incident Near Azraq Camp
In a separate incident, a driver lost their life after their vehicle overturned near Azraq Camp on the road to Zarqa. The victim was transferred to Zarqa Governmental Hospital.

Tourist Vehicle Overturn on Irbid Road
Another accident involved a tourist vehicle overturning on the Irbid road, leaving five people injured. The injuries were described as moderate to minor, and emergency services were deployed to provide assistance.

The Traffic Department urged drivers to adhere to traffic rules and avoid dangerous violations such as sudden lane changes, which remain a significant cause of accidents.
