Jordan condemns 'Israeli' bombings in Gaza
Jordan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates issued a statement strongly condemning the Israeli Occupation military's bombing of a residential neighborhood in Beit Lahia and a home in the Sheikh Radwan area of Gaza.
The attacks resulted in over 80 deaths and dozens of injuries, most of whom were women and children.
The ministry described the actions as a blatant violation of international law, particularly the 1949 Geneva Convention on the Protection of Civilians During War, labeling them as war crimes that add to 'Israel’s' ongoing violations in Gaza.
Jordan reiterated its outright rejection and condemnation of 'Israel’s' systematic targeting of innocent civilians and its continuous breaches of international humanitarian law. The statement also criticized the UN Security Council’s failure to impose a ceasefire, further exacerbating the destruction and humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza.
The ministry renewed its call for the international community to fulfill its legal and moral responsibilities by compelling 'Israel' to immediately end its aggression in Gaza, halt its ongoing violations, and hold those responsible accountable for crimes against the Palestinian people.
