14 injured in bus accident near King Abdullah University Hospital in Jordan
A traffic report from the Public Security Directorate's Traffic Department confirmed that 14 people were injured in a bus accident on Monday morning near the King Abdullah University Hospital road, heading towards Ramtha. The bus overturned after veering off the road.
A medical source at King Abdullah University Hospital informed Roya News that the emergency room received the injured individuals. The injuries were minor, and no one required hospital admission. All the injured received necessary medical attention before being discharged.
Additionally, another traffic incident occurred involving a collision between three vehicles on the Airport Road, resulting in one injury. Authorities responded promptly to manage the situation and clear the traffic congestion.
The Traffic Department urged drivers to exercise caution, especially as weather conditions worsen due to an incoming low-pressure system. The Public Security Directorate also advised the public to avoid valleys and flood-prone areas during heavy rainfall and fog, which could impair visibility and increase the risk of accidents.
