Friday, Civil Defense teams in West Irbid rescued a child who had fallen into an empty sewage manhole in the Qum and Qumeim area of Irbid Governorate.
According to a Public Security Directorate spokesperson, specialized teams quickly responded to the incident. They managed to pull the child out and provide necessary first aid.
The child was transported to the hospital in moderate condition for further treatment. Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident.
